Sculpture in rusted steel with cast bronze centrepiece, inspired by the leaf veins of an ash leaf. This freestanding piece uses the unusual combination of a polished bronze form with the contrasting colour and texture of rusted sheets of steel.
 
The cast bronze feature is created from a mould from which no only 2 casts have and will be made, patinated blue and yellow with the tips of the leaf veins polished back to the metal (gold coloured). It sits between rusted steel rectangular tubes on a sheet steel base which have all been sealed and varnished to prevent further rusting. There is felt on the bottom to protect your surfaces.
 
Suitable for indoor use only, but can be placed in full sun.
