Framed bronze on acrylic painting - 27x27x4cm
 
Sculpture in cast bronze taken from an impression of an ash tree stump, on which I drew maps of routes through the woods with crosses showing felled trees around the paths.
 
This is displayed on an acrylic painting of a map showing the location of the woodland where the tree used to stand, with faint writing taken from a report on Ash Dieback.
 
There is a fitting on the back to hang this piece on a nail or screw. Bronze care instructions are also affixed to the back.
