Unique abstract sculpture in cast bronze inset into a painted wooden panel. This wall mounted piece has an amazing variety of shapes and patterns, created by embracing random processes when casting the object. Based on the practice of burning heather moorland for grouse management and its impact on the environment.
 
The cast bronze feature is a unique unrepeatable cast, patinated in natural looking colours, with some of the edges of the holes polished back to the metal (gold coloured). It sits in a wooden panel which has been drawn on in ink, charcoal and acrylic paint. There are two keyhole fixings on the back to hang this piece on screws, with rubber buffers to raise it off the wall. Bronze care instructions are also affixed to the back.
