Bronze and steel 42x16x4cm Unique twig wall sculpture in cast bronze on a rusted steel background. The bronze twigs are cast directly from real twigs which are not fully burnt out in the casting process, leaving holes in the pieces and creating a totally unique and unrepeatable piece. It uses the unusual combination of polished bronze forms with the contrasting colour and texture of a rusted sheet of steel.
 
The cast bronze twig is patinated blue, green and yellow with the hole edges and tips polished back to the metal (gold coloured). It sits on a rusted steel sheet which has been sealed and varnished to prevent further rusting. There is a keyhole fixing welded to the back to hang this piece on a nail or screw, with rubber buffers to raise it off the wall.
 
Suitable for indoor use only, but can be hung in full sun.
